About the author

Hi, I'm Dana Donker.

My Muay Thai story started in Thailand, where I had my very first lessons in the country the sport calls home. From there I trained my way through different countries and different gyms, and everywhere I went I met women carrying the same quiet doubts I knew so well.

Then I arrived in Hội An, a small lantern lit town on the coast of central Vietnam, and something shifted. For the first time I felt completely safe and completely free to grow. Somewhere along that road I learned something that has nothing to do with fighting: confidence was never about becoming someone new. It was about coming back to someone I'd abandoned, one small, brave, unglamorous day at a time.

That's what this book is. Twenty one small days of ten to twenty minutes each, designed to walk you back to yourself.
